Tell us about your floor we’ll get back to you same day.
Terrazzo floors, which became popular in 18th century Venice, were originally made by stonemasons mixing leftover marble chips with concrete. This innovative technique combined the elegance of marble with the durability of concrete, creating a beautiful and long-lasting flooring option.
The marble chips in terrazzo are the main reason it requires special care, and we have the expertise to handle this type of flooring. To keep your terrazzo looking its best, we recommend having a professional service at least once or twice a year.
Since marble is softer than other stones commonly used in flooring, terrazzo is prone to scratching. If this happens, a professional polish will restore the floor to its original condition.
Spills, especially acidic ones, can cause permanent damage if not cleaned up immediately. A professional sealant helps protect against this, but it’s still important to wipe up spills as quickly as possible. Remember, never use vinegar to clean terrazzo floors!

Since Terrazzo floors can be quite costly, it’s important to protect your investment by keeping them well-maintained. Regular upkeep is a much more affordable option than dealing with irreparable damage later on!
